It's not personal, it's what any human body stuck in an anxiety holding pattern, or cycle, would look like.
Now that you know what anxiety looks like, why is it in your life?

Why Is Anxiety in Your Life?

Anxiety is a normal emotion and a natural response; for some of us it has just gone a little haywire as we unknowingly get stuck in the anxiety cycle. As we go around and around the anxiety cycle, living anxiously becomes an innocent habit, like a rutted well-traveled road that we're not always consciously aware of.

However, as we start to cultivate and bring awareness (among other new skills, tools, resources, etc.) to our anxiety experience, this habit starts to change. We become better and better at seeing anxiety for what it really is - a fleeting and temporary emotion that is nothing more than a protective messenger, carrying information about our unmet needs, values, beliefs, memories, etc. As we better understand our own anxiety, it becomes easier and easier to apply our newfound skills to exit the anxiety cycle, allowing that rutted road of an anxiety habit to steadily fade away.
